The Rocket Planet Leadership Force, or the RPLF, is a youth organisation that plans and runs programs for young people aged eight to sixteen years old.
The RPLF believes in a philosophy where we teach young people valuable skills, through a program designed to be so fun, no one even realises they are learning skills until they then use them! Our programs are designed for the outdoors, but we also have indoor programs for wet weather situations. Using some of the simplest equipment, such as tires and planks of wood, we construct exciting programs for our young leaders.
The RPLF runs many Seasonal Events, primarily in the Spring and Summer. We also offer General Events for schools, charities, team building days for companies, and work with a variety of organisations to implement exciting and useful programs into their schedules.
At our Seasonal Events we have three age categories:
- Pioneers: eight to ten years old, it is all about having fun and gaining independence!
- Beginners: ten to fourteen years old, lets become leaders and learn valuable life skills, whilst of course still having fun!
- Trainees: fourteen to sixteen years old, time to become a leader and help the staff run the activities, whilst continuing your personal development, and of course still having fun!
There are also a variety of other ways to get involved with the RPLF, through our volunteering programs or as a staff member.
